Job Description: Head of Housekeeping (Full Time)

Duncan & Vicki McConchie have worked tirelessly to grow the business at Laggan into an all-year-round Destination of Excellence. In 2016, they opened 8 Sea View Snugs, in 2017 added a further 2 and then an additional 8 were added in 2019, along with a 2-bed cottage, Cairnharrow and 3 3-bed house, Laggan Behind, being recently added to the property portfolio. These properties now allow for up to 51 people to stay on site. We have also recently added a local hotel to our business, which opened in Spring 2023 and consists of 14 double ensuite bedrooms. As the business capacity has grown, so too has the role of the Head of Housekeeping.

As head of housekeeping you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, organisation and guest satisfaction across the business.

You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of housekeeping operations, managing a team and ensuring a welcoming and spotless environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement housekeeping policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations • Lead, train and supervise the housekeeping team including hiring, personal development reviews and scheduling rotas • Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies, laundry and equipment ensuring stock levels are maintained

• Inspect accommodation areas regularly to guarantee cleanliness meets company standards

• Respond promptly to guest feedback and requests, taking appropriate actions to address concerns
