Nursery Manager
£28,000 – £30,000 per annum
Candidates will require a minimum of SQV Level 4. Level 9 or equivalent desirable but Level 4 candidates willing to work towards Level 9 will be considered.
Due to career development of our current Manager we have an exciting opportunity for a new Manager to take the reins of our small rural nursery which delivers ELC and childcare from 2.5 Years to school age. The secure setting boasts an extensive outdoor space which also houses an indoor sensory space. The nursery is situated in Glenlochar, DG7 2NZ.
Crossmichael & Parton Playgroup Nursery is a registered charity (SC016669) which was incorporated in 1944.
The nursery is open term time only as per Dumfries and Galloways academic calendar and opening hours are 0830 to 1530. A small team of competent and driven practitioners are embedded and are truly the main assets of our business.
The Manager would be responsible for the Management of our small team and day to day running of the setting. Using their expertise, knowledge and skills to continue the development of our wonderful nursery.
For consistency we implemented the use of Xero for book keeping and invoicing alongside a Chartered Accountant who additionally manage payroll. (Training will be provided on Xero)
Citation is implemented for HR, HSEQ and other elements of training.
