We are a Wedding and Events venue looking for new members to join our team and occupy various roles within our company. Dalswinton Events is based 15 minutes outside of Dumfries – being able to drive is preferable but not essential as long as you can arrange transport. Our Events run on weekends between April and October annually, with several throughout the summer that we are looking to recruit for. Bar Staff (Seasonal – April-October)
We are looking for multiple people to join our bar team, to deliver a high standard of service to our customers. Please note the venue closes at 12.30am and you are likely to work until 1.30am. All candidates must be over 18 and previous bar experience is preferable but not essential, as all training will be provided.
General tasks include;
– Taking customer orders
– Money handling
– Making alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks
– Restocking drinks
– Cleaning
General Staff (Seasonal – April-October)
We are looking for multiple people to join our team to work at events during the day, predominantly on Saturdays, to assist with general tasks including;
– Car parking
– Assisting guests
– Waitressing
– Glass collecting
– Cleaning
Cleaning Staff (Seasonal – April-October)
We are looking for staff to join our cleaning team. We are a high-end Wedding and Events venue and require the right team to help us to ensure our standards are met at all times. The cleaning team will be required to work prior to events during the set up and after events for clear up, hours will predominantly be on Friday and Sunday mornings.
General tasks include:
– Sweeping/mopping floors
– Cleaning toilets
– Ensuring the outside grounds are well presented
Leaving the marquee in a pristine condition
Chef/Cook (Seasonal – April-October)
We are looking for someone to assist our Head Chef with preparing & sending wedding meals, across several event dates this summer.
General tasks include:
– Preparation of food
– Ensuring cleanliness of kitchen
– Ensuring food is served to a high standard
