What’s the Job?
We’re looking for a talented Student Engagement Capacity Lead, to join the Student Experience Team on a permanent contract.
This role is dedicated to enhancing student engagement, supporting the student association, and developing student capacities through leadership opportunities, workshops, and career planning. The role strengthens the student voice, fosters a quality culture, and ensures continuous improvement in student development initiatives.
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for the Student Engagement and Capacity Lead with a background in coaching and mentoring. Ability to design and deliver workshops and training programmes.
You will be creative and proactive and passionate about student engagement and development.
To succeed in the role, you will have some or all of the following:
· You will be educated to SCQF Level 7
· Experience of working in a similar role is essential
· Excellent coaching, mentoring and facilitation skills
· Strong organisation, teamworking, relationship building skills.
· Good verbal and written communication skills.
· Adaptability to evolving digital opportunities and willingness to continuously improve digital competencies.
· This post is required to be based on Campus
Proficiency in digital skills relevant to the role, including experience using MS Office.

If you’re successful in securing the role, your employment will be conditional on the college receiving two satisfactory references and background checks including the disclosure Scotland check on all criminal offences (spent & unspent) so ensure you are not barred from working with Children or Vulnerable Adults.
All staff are required to become a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) membership scheme, which is managed and delivered by Disclosure Scotland.
