Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced carpet fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for various duties related to flooring, including floor preparation (screeding and fitting plywood), laying LVT, fitting runners on stairs and fitting sheet vinyl.
We would also consider a freelance fitter provided that they have their own long wheelbase van.
Duties:
– Cut carpets to plans
– Load van in preparation for the day ahead
– Operate power tools and hand tools to complete assigned tasks
– Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Skills:
– Experience in fitting flooring
– Ability to read and interpret instructions
– Ability to work independently as well as with others
– Have strong attention to detail
– Meet project deadlines
– Full UK driving licence
Salary negotiable depending on experience.
