Our mission is to assist the elderly community, individuals recently discharged from hospital, and anyone needing a helping hand with daily tasks, all without providing personal care. We are a dedicated, local team committed to providing reliable and flexible support tailored to individual needs.

The Role:

We are seeking compassionate and dependable Home Helpers to join our growing team. As a Home Helper, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients by providing practical assistance and friendly companionship, enabling them to live comfortably and independently in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Home Help & Housekeeping: Performing general tidying, cleaning (including bathrooms), washing dishes, and managing laundry.
• Running Errands: Collecting prescriptions, grocery shopping, and undertaking other essential errands as required.
• Meal Assistance: Assisting clients with food preparation, ensuring they have access to nutritious meals.
• Pet Care: Providing care for small pets, which may include walking dogs and other pet-related tasks.
• Companionship & Welfare Checks: Visiting clients for friendly chats, sharing a cup of tea, and ensuring their general well-being.
• Maintaining Records: Completing basic visit logs and communicating any relevant information to the Bonnie Helping Hands team.
• Adhering to Policies: Following Bonnie Helping Hands’ policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of our clients.
  Please note: This role focuses on providing practical and emotional support and does NOT involve any aspects of personal care such as bathing, dressing, or toileting.

• Driving Licence (Beneficial): A full driving license and access to your own vehicle may be required for some roles to travel between client locations.
• Eligibility to Work in the UK: You must have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom.

Experience (Desirable but not essential): While no formal experience is required, previous experience in care, cleaning, customer service, or similar roles is advantageous.
