Person required to provide help with room rental business at weekends (either one in 2 weekends or all/most weekends as this job could be shared between 2 people). The main part of the job is meeting potential tenants to conduct viewings and meeting new arrivals, also minor maintenance work e.g. mowing lawns, and occasional urgent work e.g. restarting heating boiler.
This would be suitable for a friendly person who is good at communicating and has an eye for tidiness/cleanliness (the houses need to be clean and tidy for the viewings/new arrivals). We would request that you are available on-call for the whole weekend. Some viewings are booked at quite short notice but urgent call-outs are rare.
We would give training and be available on the telephone for assistance and would pay a fixed basic rate for the successful applicant to be available by telephone for work over the weekend and an hourly rate for the work carried out (the number of hours worked varies from week to week).
