Care & Support Worker Part Time

Are you interested in a varied role, in a vibrant Community supporting adults with learning disabilities in shared living and meaningful work?

We are looking for 4 people to join our team as Care & Support Workers or Co-leaders in our shared houses.

Successful candidates will be working in partnership with live-in volunteers.  Tasks will include assisting with personal care, cleaning, house admin, support plans and taking people out for trips out/appointments.  A driving licence is essential for this position.

you are experienced in care & support and/or have the openness and aptitude to learn about our life and work-sharing approach.
you have good communications skills and are able to work well as part of a team.
you are willing to support in a range of ways, including personal care and domestic tasks which go with a large household.
you are able to work 2 evenings per week and one day every second weekend.

The starting rate of pay for this role is currently £12.49/ hour.  This will be reviewed in April.

Successful applicants will be required to undergo clearance for working with vulnerable adults (PVG).
