Co Leader in Shared Houses Full Time

Are you interested in a varied role supporting adults with learning disabilities in shared living and meaningful work?

Our Community offers a very different work environment, rich and diverse, and with a strong sense of purpose.  We are looking for people to join our team as Co-leaders in our shared houses.

We are looking for 2 full time staff members who are able to work flexible hours.  This role will include a mix of mornings and afternoon/evening shifts, and a shift every second weekend.  A Driving Licence is essential for these roles.

Co-Leaders in our shared houses work in partnership with live-in volunteers and our Care & Support Team.  Successful candidates will assist in caring for, and supporting some of the people who live here who have learning disabilities and additional needs.  The role involves support in all aspects of administration and co-ordination of a large household. Co-Leaders  also become involved in the social and cultural life which makes our Community what it is.

This is an employed, live-out role that is full-time. We would consider part-time applications and would like to hear from candidates interested in joining our team and:

• have experience in care & support or have the openness and aptitude to learn about our work and life-sharing approach.
• you are organised, have good communications skills and are able to work well as part of a team.
• have experience in leading and working collaboratively with a small team and willing to support in a range of ways, including with some aspects of personal care.

Successful applicants will be required to undergo clearance for working with vulnerable adults (PVG).
