SHAX is recruiting to a new post of a Marketing Officer to help increase awareness of our services and social impact through our marketing communication activities, and to grow our business towards achieving our social, environmental and economic goals. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a career out of making a difference.
Reporting to the Social Enterprise Manager you will lead on the implementation of our annual Marketing Plan and brand standards. You’ll share our plan with the SHAX team and take the lead on delivering a stream of engaging, high-quality social media content.
You’ll also lead on the listing and sales of products on our e-commerce platforms.
The role will be split between our SHAX Warehouse on the Crichton Estate and our retail shop in Dumfries town centre. There, you’ll have an opportunity to interact with our team, volunteers and customers. As our Marketing Officer, we want you to bring your energy and excitement to SHAX every day.
Our perfect candidate will have prior experience or qualifications in marketing and social media and/or a track record of achieving sales in a target-driven retail environment.
